Hey everyone, I’m having trouble updating Fortnite on my Mac. My current version won’t connect to the servers, and I think I need the latest patch. Can anyone guide me on how to update it properly? Thanks in advance!
Hey man, I totally get the frustration — updating Fortnite on a Mac can be a royal pain in the butt! Here’s a quick and dirty guide to help you out.

Epic Games Launcher: First off, make sure you’ve got the Epic Games Launcher installed. If you don’t have it, download and install it from the Epic Games website. It’s like, step one in the Fortnite bible.

Open the Launcher: Fire up the Epic Games Launcher and sign in with your credentials. Be prepared; this thing loves asking for your password any chance it gets.

Navigate to Library: Head over to the Library tab. You should see Fortnite chilling there.

Update Button: If there’s an update available, there’ll be a big ol’ “Update” button right next to Fortnite. Smash that button like it’s one of those gnomes you gotta find in the game.

Wait…: Yeah, unfortunately, there’s a fair share of hurry up and wait coming your way. The update might take a bit, especially if it’s a hefty one.

If Stuck… Reinstall: If for some reason the update isn’t working (it happens, trust), you might need to uninstall and reinstall the game. I know, I know — total drag, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
