How do I mirror my iPhone to my TV without using an Apple TV?

I want to watch videos from my phone on a bigger screen, but I’m not sure what other options are available. I don’t have an Apple TV. How can I mirror iPhone without it?

A lot depends on what kind of TV you have.
If you have a Roku TV, there’s a good chance it supports AirPlay, which would allow you to mirror your iPhone without Apple TV. To check, go to your TV’s settings and see if there’s an option for AirPlay or Apple AirPlay & HomeKit. If your TV supports it, you can easily mirror your iPhone by using the Control Center on your phone and selecting your Roku TV - Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If AirPlay isn’t available on your TV, you can use third-party apps like Screen mirroring・Smart View TV, Replica or DoCast https://apps.apple.com/us/app/screen-mirror-smart-tv-docast/id6446948344
These apps support many TV models and allow you to mirror your iPhone screen wirelessly.

If you’re looking for alternatives to Apple TV, budget-friendly options like Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick can work well for mirroring your iPhone. However, to mirror your iPhone to these devices, you’ll need a mirror application. DoCast is a great option that supports both Chromecast and Fire Stick, making it easy to mirror your iPhone screen.

Another app you could try is AirBeamTV, which also works well with these devices.

Once you’ve set up Chromecast or Fire Stick on your TV and connected both your iPhone and the device to the same Wi-Fi network, you can use these apps to watch videos from your phone on your TV without any hassle.
